We're cutting the steps it takes to provision Webex Calling at scale, and letting you pull insights and run tasks in Variphy just by asking.

Here are the features now available in our May 2026 release.

Provision Webex Calling Faster with Unified Jobs and Inline Configuration

Variphy Provisioning for Webex Calling streamlines how teams manage Webex Calling at volume, combining multi-step Control Hub workflows into a single, flexible interface.

What's new:

Unified jobs that combine multiple operations, like creating a virtual line and device in one workflow, instead of navigating through separate Control Hub sections.

Inline voicemail and call settings configuration when a virtual line is created, rather than configuring defaults after the fact in a separate step.

Delegated administration that lets non-admin users make changes in their own environment, so you don't need to grant full Webex admin rights to everyone who needs to make a change.

This means voice teams can provision faster, configure smarter, and own the entire workflow without the multi-admin, multi-menu overhead of doing it directly in Control Hub.

Surface Insights About Your Environment, Just by Asking

Early access to Colleen AI Assistant, a natural language interface layered into the Variphy application, will be available this month. Instead of navigating menus or learning the UI, prompt AI Assistant in plain language to handle tasks across the platform.

What's new:

Natural language call history searches using prompts like "show me all abandoned calls from yesterday" work today. User administration, widget creation, and dashboard and report building are coming soon, and pilot users get hands-on access before general availability.

A single conversational interface that spans administrative tasks and analytics workflows.

This means new users can be productive faster, routine work moves quicker, and the depth of the Variphy platform is accessible without first mastering the UI.

See Mailbox Usage at a Glance in Cisco Unity As-Built Reports

The "Mailbox" As-built reporting option for Cisco Unity now surfaces more detail about each user's mailbox alongside the rest of your as-built data.

What's new:

New columns showing current Inbox, Deleted, and Sent message counts for each user's Mailbox, captured as part of every Snapshot.

This means you can see mailbox usage in the same report you're already running, with counts preserved in each Snapshot for a point-in-time view of activity.
